Walter Beasley…..recording artist, saxophonist, vocalist, music educator and entrepreneur. His career began in the late 1970’s in El Centro, California and today he is one of the top ten selling saxmen in the world. I had the opportunity to meet and interview him at the Carlyle Club in May. He is definitely one of the coolest individuals I have met thus far. When attending one of his performances, audiences are in for a double treat from this dynamic multi-talented artist. Although he currently resides in Boston, I’m sure it’s fair to say that many of his fans here in the DC area consider him as one of their own. After hearing the sweet sounds of Mr. Beasley’s sax, how can you not have a “Lovely Day”.
