The WIRE-4 Artists originated from my passion for the performing arts and helping others. During the time that I was an aspiring actor I often had to learn about the business from trial and error. I didn’t have a mentor to get advice from regarding available resources or using caution in signing with talent agencies. Networking with other aspiring actors definitely proved to be essential in navigating the industry. My desire is that this website would provide assistance for aspiring and up and coming artists, that would enable them to locate some of the resources that would assist them in their careers. Also, to facilitate an environment of networking that allows the established artists to share their knowledge and expertise with aspiring and up and coming artists. The Washington D.C. area has always been known to be a hub for the entertainment industry. Film, television, theatre, dance and every genre of music including go-go, rock, classical, jazz, pop, and R & B are indigenous to the area. I have truly been enlightened with the unique and dynamic musical culture I have been exposed to thus far. I am eagerly anticipating all that is yet to come. In addition, via Twitter I have been introduced to a host of talented artists throughout the nation and world; including musicians, dancers, rappers, and music producers.
