Do you remember those familiar tunes by the O' Jays such as "For the Love of Money", "Love Train", and my all time favorite "Back Stabbers"? As well as the Gap Band and their rockin' grooves like "You Dropped a Bomb on Me", “Outstanding", and "Early in the Morning". If so, you may want to take a walk down memory lane with the classic sounds of R&B and funk on November 19th at the Carlyle Club. This tribute concert presented by BRENCORE Entertainment will feature some of the DMV's finest artists. They include national recording artist, saxophonist Brian Lenair, soulful vocalist Brandon Combs, and the recording R&B group SMUV. Also performing is the BRENCORE Allstar Band with musical director Derek "Redfootz" Freeman (drums), Rod Thompson (lead guitar), Trendle Thomas (keyboards), Roc Simpson (percussion), and holding down the rhythm section Lorenzo Sands (bass). So mark your calendar for Saturday, November, 19, 2011 and don't miss out on this show-stopping event!!!
