The 5th annual Capital Jazz SuperCruise will take place October 23-30, 2011 aboard the Carnival Valor cruise ship. Departing from the Port of Miami and sailing to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Cozumel, Mexico, and Belize. Maysa, David Dyson, and Spur of the Moment are among the local artists that will be performing during the week long extravaganza of musical bliss. David Dyson is slated to play with Pieces of a Dream, Walter Beasley, Phil Perry, George Duke, Eric Benet, Chante Moore, and Nick Colionne. He is without a doubt one of the most highly sought after and talented bassist in the nation. Other artists scheduled to perform include Norman Brown, Fourplay, Rachelle Ferrell, Patti Austin, Roy Ayers, Cheryl "Pepsi" Riley, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, The Family Stone, Fred Hammond, and many more.
