The opening reception for photography phenom Tana Lopez’s exhibit will take place on Thursday August 11th, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center located at 847 N. Howard Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201. Her work never ceases to amaze as she is able to capture her subjects in just the right moment. Anyone can take pictures but it takes extraordinary skill to master the art of photography as evident in her photos. In July 2010, Tana’s passion for helping others led her all the way around the world on a mission trip to Ghana, West Africa with Ghanaian Mothers' Hope, Inc. Once again, she will make that journey this month serving as their official photographer. In addition to viewing a remarkably exceptional exhibit, you will get to enjoy live music as well from On Kee jazz band. So make sure you save the date. Tana, we congratulate you on your accomplishments. Keep doing what you do and we’ll see you there.
