The WIRE 4 Artists was originally created for artists in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland & Virginia). However, after being exposed to so many talented artists and musicians I felt it was necessary to incorporate an additional division. The WIRE 4 Artists' BASSNotes was formed out of my passion for the bass and the desire to spotlight bassists locally, nationally, and worldwide. The DMV boasts of being home to some the funkiest bassists on the planet. They include Mitchell Coates, Rodney "Skeet" Curtis, David Dyson, Sean Geason, Buddy Jordan, Lorenzo Sands, Meshelle Ndegeocello, Chris Rhodes, and Rick Watts. Thanks to the social media networks I have also had the privilege of meeting and interacting with a host of phenomenally talented bassists beyond the DMV. They include Danny Fox, Rebecca Johnson, Jerome Lee, Jamie Mallender, Divinity Roxx, and Nik West. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to be influenced by diverse and gifted bassists.
