Anita King

I have often wondered what the voice of an angel sounded like. Thanks to the sensational Anita King I have found my answer. On July 31st Ms. King performed at the Proud Mary Restaurant in Fort Washington, Maryland in a musical tribute to Anita Baker and Oleta Adams. She gracefully belted out favorite hits such as "Sweet Love" and "Get Here".  Ms. King was accompanied by Tahesha Jones (background vocals), Mitchell Scott (background vocals), Lyle Link (saxophone), Vince Evans (keyboards), Alvin White (guitar), Mitchell Coats (bass), and Cory Baker (drums). I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the show.  My only disappointment was when it ended. Ms. King is a rare gem among divas with a beautiful personality that radiates on and off stage.  It was truly an honor to meet her and see her remarkable performance.  Thank you Anita King for sharing your wonderful gift. I look forward to attending another outstanding event from KWorld Productions and Brencore Entertainment.
